Sol Colibrí is a partner of the Costa Rica Small Planet Project. They are organic coffee and cocoa farmers who are working to transform the relationships between farmers, their agricultural products and conscious consumers desiring to make a social investment in a more sustainable future. Arturo Segura, founder and director of Sol Colibrí , works with Ed’Intl. and Santos Tours to provide community service opportunities on their organic coffee farm and other service projects within the Los Santos region. Sol Colibrí is also partnering with Ed’Intl. to bring fair-trade, organic coffee directly to the US market. Sol Colibrí will make tax-deductible donations to support US youth to participate in the Small Planet Project.

PeaceJam Costa Rica is a partner of the Costa Rica Small Planet Project. They are a youth development organization that connects youth and Nobel Peace Laureates in an effort to generate a billion acts of peace. One of the outstanding demonstrations of peace is the collaboration between the Costa Rica affiliate of university youth facilitators with Ed’Intl. high school age youth on the Small Planet Project. Living, working, and learning side by side our youth development groups are creating true global citizens with lasting relationships and powerful examples of international cooperation. Ed’Intl. will be bringing our Global Citizen project youth to PeaceJam conferences in the United States where we will host our Costa Rican friends.

Santos Tours is a partner of the Costa Rica Small Planet Project. They are an organization that focuses on the development of sustainable and environmental tourism in the area of Los Santos, CR. The founders of Santos Tours Jonathon and Carlos, aim to spread awareness of sustainable development, growth, and conservation through hands-on learning experiences. Santos Tours works in collaboration with Ed’Intl. to facilitate the home-stays, services projects, and our travel within Costa Rica.

United Nations Association of Pasadena is a partner of the Global Citizen Project. They are the domestic representative of the United Nations with affiliates in every nation across the world. The mission of the UNA is to generate local awareness and support of the United Nations and its commitment to achieving global peace, justice and freedom. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Millenium Development Goals are foundational documents for each of our organizations and are the basis of our partnership. Together we facilitate the Model United Nations conference in Pasadena.

Summer Search is a leadership development program with a unique commitment to providing ongoing and long-term support for low-income high school students. Founded in San Francisco in 1990, Summer Search now operates seven offices nationwide helping to place more than 700 high school students annually on a path of positive change.
